Phil Ranker currently teaches Physical Education at Lime Kiln Middle School. He has been highlighted (along with Erika Lupo) in the Howard County Times and Shape America for the outstanding PE program at Lime Kiln. He is also the head coach of the Reservoir Girls Varsity Soccer team and Girls Varsity Lacrosse team. In 2020 Phil was selected as the Howard County Coach of the Year for soccer. Phil has coached basketball at the JV and Varsity levels in both Howard (Reservoir and Wilde Lake) and Baltimore County (Randallstown and Franklin). He believes that the more activities and sports that kids are exposed to, the more active they will be moving forward.
Tom Dougherty – Tom currently teaches Math at Lime Kiln Middle School. He has coached girls soccer at Reservoir High School and has been active his entire life. He has also coached softball at Reservoir. His passions include soccer, basketball and baseball. His energy and excitement is unparalleled and is on constant display throughout camp.
Erika Lupo – Erika currently teaches Physical Education at Lime Kiln Middle School. She is a lifelong athlete and won multiple state titles playing volleyball at Centennial. She also played volleyball for Towson in college and has coached on the club, high school and college levels.
Michelle Ranker – Michelle currently teaches Kindergarten at Fulton Elementary School. She grew up playing many sports and excelled in basketball, soccer and especially lacrosse, which she continued playing in college at The University of Maryland.
Play many different sports/activities throughout camp, keeping everyone active and engaged while working on various skills and having FUN!!
Campers are placed in groups based on age and ability level so that they are matched up with similarly aged campers during active play.
What to Bring:
Campers should wear/bring the following items daily:
- athletic clothes/shoes
- water bottle
- lunch (if participating in the morning and afternoon session)
