We are currently looking to fill the following positions for the 2022-2023 school year:
Secretary
The Secretary is an officer and a voting member of the board. They are responsible for preparing the agenda for every meeting; reaching out to committee chairs to get reports prior to each meeting; taking notes at each meeting; approving and documenting all meeting minutes. This position must attend each monthly meeting to ensure we have quorum.
Sponsorship Committee
The sponsorship committee is responsible for soliciting corporate sponsorships to ensure the Reservoir Boosters can fully fund the needs of our athletic, academic and social groups. Sponsorship activities include outreach to local businesses; ordering and hanging banners in the gym and stadium to promote sponsors; working with the outreach team to update the website, newsletter, and social media posts to recognize sponsors. We are looking for two to three committee members. This committee meets once a month (excluding May-July).
Fundraising Committee
The fundraising committee is responsible for creating a fundraising plan to ensure the Reservoir Boosters can fully fund the needs of our athletic, academic and social groups. Past fundraising activities have included a Bingo Night and 5k Fun Run. Fundraising activities include planning, advertising, and executing all major events. We are looking for a new Fundraising Chairperson and three to five committee members. This committee meets once per month (excluding May-July).
Outreach Committee
The outreach committee is responsible for developing and coordinating activities that promote Reservoir HS. These activities include sending the monthly newsletter, updating the website, managing the main RHS Boosters gmail account and regularly posting announcements and recognition on social media. We are looking for one or two additional committee members. This committee meets once per month (excluding May-July).
Summer Camps Committee
The summer camp committee is responsible for developing and coordinating all RHS Booster summer camps, one of our most profitable activities. These activities include working with coaches to create the summer camp schedule; promoting the summer camps using Facebook ads and signage; providing updates on registration; answering parent questions; ordering tee shirts for camp; managing the main Summer Camp gmail account and working with outreach to regularly post announcements on social media. We are looking for one or two additional committee members. This committee meets monthly, as needed; the busy period is during the late spring and summer.
Spirit Wear Committee
The spirit wear committee is responsible for ordering and selling Reservoir HS gear. Typical activities include working with vendors annually to reorder/select new gear; keeping track of inventory; selling gear at all major school events (Freshman Orientation, Back to School Night, Homecoming, etc.) ; setting up an online store. We are looking for one or two additional committee members. This committee meets monthly, as needed; the busy period is during the late summer and fall.
Concessions Committee
The concessions committee is responsible for ordering and selling concessions at most home games. Typical activities include stocking the concessions booths; keeping track of inventory; ensuring there are enough volunteers to sell concessions at each event. We are looking for a new chairperson and one to two additional committee members. This committee meets once per month (excluding May-July).
